CCC is excited to offer SUP Pup an 8-day fast-paced Stand Up Paddle Board experience designed for you and your dog, perfect for getting your dog ready for summer adventures on the water. This course helps you build confidence (for you and your pup!)  through guided instruction structured practice and a final on-water session.

Led by our dog sport instructor Bronwyn, a former provincial SUP competitor, SUP Pup is designed for dogs of all sizes and experience levels who are comfortable around water. No prior paddle boarding experience is required.

Dogs will be supported to progress at their own pace throughout the course, and will never be asked to move forward before they are ready.  This course is strictly limited to 2 dogs per session, ensuring highly personalized instruction and plenty of individual support.

All paddle boards and canine life jackets are provided. Participants must bring their own personal flotation device (PFD).

Course Schedule

Day 1 (June 6) – Land Foundations
Learn the basics of paddle board handling, safe dog positioning, balance, and communication skills.

Days 2–6 (June 7–12) – Practice Window
Use open practice time on campus to build confidence, refine skills, and prepare for the water. Optional video feedback is available to keep momentum.

Day 7 (June 13) – Water Introduction
Take your skills onto the water in a supportive environment and begin paddling with your dog.

Day 8 (June 14) – Paddling Confidence
Build confidence with smoother paddling and a consistent routine for your own paddle adventures.

Administrative & Attendance Policies:

• Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, including the Bordetella vaccine.
• All cancellations and refunds are subject to a $35 administration fee.
• Cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the start date will not be refunded, so please plan carefully.
• As this is a specialized class, no make-up classes or Office Hour Sessions available.
