The start date for this class is Thursday, January 9th at 6pm. This class is for puppies who were after Sept 25, 2024 (up to 15 weeks at the start of program).
We’re thrilled to introduce our redesigned Puppy Class, perfect for giving your little one the best start in life! This 4-week course is designed by a certified pet dog trainer, and uses science-based methods and focuses exclusively on positive reinforcement. Our Puppy Class curriculum is rich with unique experiences and tailored opportunities that will help your puppy build confidence and adapt smoothly to their new world. With a strong focus on varied socialization and integrating your puppy into your family, this class is an essential step for all new puppy parents.
Topics covered in Puppy Class (but not limited to!):
✅ Life Skills: Lay the foundation for essential skills such as learning their name, sit, down, coming when called, and sitting at thresholds.
✅ Integrating into Family Life: Address common puppy challenges such as nipping, house training, and crate training.
✅ Appropriate Play and Socialization: Encourage healthy interaction with other puppies and people, and expose your puppy to various surfaces and sounds to build confidence in the outside world.
✅ Body Handling and Examination: Prepare for vet visits, nail trimming, grooming, and handling by practicing gentle techniques to ensure your puppy is comfortable.
✅ On-Campus Field Trips: Explore different environments to build your puppy’s confidence and adaptability.

This is a four (4) week course. All classes are at 6pm for 1 hour and your puppy attends all weeks.
Please note that puppies must have received at least the first set in their vaccine series before the first class.
All cancellations and refunds are subject to a $35 administration fee. Cancellations with less than two weeks’ notice prior to the start date will not be refunded, so please plan carefully. We appreciate your cooperation to help keep our classes small and effective for you.
